Sanuk Women’s Yoga Sling 2 Flip-Flop Review

These Sanuk Women’s Yoga Sling 2 Flip-Flops literally made my summer.

After years spent wearing uncomfortable sandals, and flip flops that were ripping off after a week or two, I finally found exactly what I was looking for.

The price was reasonable; in fact they’re pretty affordable for anatomic Yoga flip-flops. I’m happy to share my great experience with Sanuk Women’s Yoga Sling 2 Flip Flops.

Here’s the Sanuk “Brandifesto” that I watched to understand more about who these people are.  It’s always good to know who you’re buying from, I find.

Anyway, back to the sandals and my little review!

This pair managed to keep my feet safe, odour free, and were are completely relaxing to wear.

Honestly, I still have blister marks all over my feet from wearing rubber strapped flip flops and sandals.

I don’t even want to remember that pain – blisters that popped and got nasty infections from all the street dirt and beach sand.

When I discovered Sanuk Women’s Yoga Sling 2 Flip Flops, I realized that my problems were over.

Finally, I found flip flops that were pretty much like sandals with fabric made straps and excellent footbed.

So I got two in one –  full sandal support with two straps in the back, and flip-flop strap in the front.

No More Blisters

Since the day I got them, I never stopped wearing them.  I work in a fast food restaurant so standing and walking back and forth is mandatory.

I needed something super comfortable that would not give my feet blisters, pain in the arch, or in the heels, and additionally, something that wouldn’t make them swell .

Sanuk Women’s Yoga 2 Flip-Flops gave me all that – the fabric straps are wide enough and stretchy enough so they can fit anyone’s feet.

I have somewhat wide feet, and I had no problem putting them on – the stretchy fabric is ideal for any foot width.

What mattered to me, was to keep the skin on my feet free from blisters and wounds, and with the soft fabric I got that.

Soft Fabric Easy On The Toes

Even the front so-called “thong” part of the flip flops is fabric made without any rubber, plastics or any hard material that can harm the gentle part between the toes.

At first I worried whether they’d keep my feet in place, you know, because of the fabric, but once I put them on, I realized that they weren’t any less comfortable or less safe than any other sandals.

My feet didn’t slip at all, and it wasn’t only because of the footbed.

If you worry whether the straps would get ruined if they got wet, let me tell you that I’ve worn these in heavy summer rain and nothing happened.

Of course, they aren’t made for swimming, or walking in puddles, but they aren’t going to stretch out of shape after a few rain drops fall on them.

Yoga Mat Footbed

Now back to the footbed, my favourite part.   As you can see it looks like a padded yoga-mat.  And yes, it is exactly that.

If you have ever stepped on a yoga mat, you already know how comfy it feels under your foot.  In a way it feels like memory foam, except it isn’t that soft, but the whole pressure is minimized; that means that my feet aren’t “punished” by walking on soles that feel every pebble underfoot.

The smooth EVA tapsoles feel amazing when I walk; they have shock absorbent midsoles which give my feet needed support.

They seem lightweight, and they are – perhaps the lightest flip flops I own.

EVA Outsoles For Added Traction

Sanuk Women’s Yoga Sling 2 Flip-Flops have hardened EVA outsoles deliver flexible traction.

Another thing that made me smile, is the fact that these are all-synthetic which makes them vegan-friendly. (I, myself, am vegan, and I really care about things like this).

When it comes to design, I have to say that I’m amazed; there are 45 different colors and patterns.

Girls like to  choose their favourite colour, especially when we’re buying summer footwear.

Love ‘Em!

I picked the Black and White Tile for myself, and I already planning to purchase at least one more monochromatic pair (maybe Coral or Black).

They are simple, and without any visible logos on them.

A few people even asked me whether I made them myself.

To me that sounded like a compliment because they look unique.

I got a lovely design, excellent comfort and support – all in one pair of flip flops.
