Many people in our walking club use step counter pedometers to track the distance they’ve covered, the time taken, and the number of steps taken. How Does a Pedometer Work?
Many people believe that pedometers count the number of physical steps that you take. That is not the case, as what they actually do is respond to, or sense any type of movement. The problem with that, of course, is that there is a tendency to measure any type of movement that is not actually a step.
