Today we review the best women’s water shoes on the market in 2017. The top brands this year come from Body Glove, Speedo, Dreamcity, Aleader, and Zhuanglin. Some of these names you may know, as they are almost synonymous with water, but you may not have been aware that they make shoes too! We personally love this selection of women’s water shoes. Each one of these selections is stylish, simple, and – most importantly – waterproof! So, get your beach on, and get into a pair of these women’s water shoes!
Bodyglove are a respected manufacturer of water shoes and these definitely have the wow factor.
Definitely more trendy than some of the water shoes we have seen, these look more like sandals and we could picture ourselves wearing them outside of the water park.
The sole on these Bodyglove Horizons is a little more substantial than you can find on some water shoes, although we still wouldn’t advise any long hikes in them!
Stylish and comfortable, as well as easily drained, we think this gives Bodyglove the edge over the competition when it comes to choosing a water shoe this summer!
Now here are a pair of shoes that were designed to be seen!
The colors that these Speedos come in, tell us that they are not the blushing wallflowers of water shoes.
Furthermore, their unique design, means they looks quite swish.
Slightly more tight fitting than some of its competitors, these Speedos will not move around on your feet, or slip off when you are under water.
With slightly smaller holes than some of the other shoes in this review, we think these may be the better option for pebbly beaches, as stones will not get stuck, as much.
Just because the holes on the sole are not as large, does not impact in the quick drying time of these shoes.
Comfortable, with good traction and highly fashionable, these Speedos certainly tick all the right boxes with us!
Don’t be fooled by the name, these Dreamcity water shoes are from the same stable as the manufacturer “Aleader”.
If you look carefully, you can see there are holes in these shoes throughout the upper, as well as in the sole.
These will ensure the extremely quick drying times that you need from them.
We like the fact that, as well as being highly practical, these are also nice to look at and available in a range of pastel colors, to be mixed and matched with various clothing.
These also perform well on dry land, with some people purchasing them to wear at work, in kitchens and other slippery environments.
We think, for the price, you can’t go wrong with a pair of these Dreamcity water shoes.
We like the variety of color and styles in this range.
Don’t be put off by the fact that some of the shoes have “Socone” on them, this is the same brand as Aleader.
What we do seem to have here is a few different styles under the same heading. So just check carefully which one you are ordering.
Most people (76%) think these fit just fine and that they perform well across a wide range of aqua activities – from water aerobics, to walking in the sea.
Judging by the size of the drainage holes in the sole, you might get some sand in there, but on the plus side, these shoes rinse through really easily.
In brief, we think these are a worthy inclusion in your holiday packing.
Despite the name of “ Zhuanglin” these are the same manufacturer as the previous two shoes. It seems that this manufacturer went through a lot of names before finally hitting on “Aleader”!
Similar to the other styles, there are a few different designs under the same listing and these also bear the ‘Socone’ branding.
Confusion about the branding aside, these are a highly comfortable, extremely versatile and lightweight pair of water shoes – in whichever color or style you care to pick.
The holes in the sole are rather large, which means water should drain out of them with absolutely no problems. It might mean that the odd small stone gets stuck in there, but that is to be expected and it will come out easily enough.
The fit seems satisfactory and most people are happy with the comfort level provided from these shoes.
They have a decent traction and even if you don’t plan on getting them wet, they will be great for keeping your feet aired on hot days.
Recommended all round!
