Another unisex kids LED shoe, this time by enigmatic manufacturer WaltZon.
In this range of “upgraded” LED kids’ shoes, there are five options.
These are a PU leather (in other words, synthetic) and we haven’t had actual confirmation about the material of the sole, but they are more than likely rubber.
The colors in this style are black, orange, pink, white and pink-grey. The white, pink and black designs, have something of a crisscross pattern on the sides of the shoes, that looks a bit like a doodle.
These also feature some small needle sized holes on the top of the upper, to help ventilate the shoe further.
They have laces, for show, but then a single Velcro strap across the top of the shoe.
For the other two colors, the orange and the pink-grey, the designs are a little different. These are both two tone colors, so the orange is actually more of blue, juxtaposed with an orange. From the toe, they are mainly a mid-shade of blue.
These come with a sort of tortoise shell pattern of smoothed oblongs on the upper. The color blends from blue to orange at the heel.
With orange matching laces and an orange inner, these are nothing if not striking!
These have a gauzy look, with smallish holes for venting air with also, to ensure the ventilation of the foot.
The pink-gray are the same as the orange, only the dominant color is gray at the tip of the shoe, moving into a neon pink at the heel. This color has pink laces and soles.
All things considered – and even before we get to the all important color change LEDs, these are not the kind of shoes which will get lost in a crowd.
And as for the LEDs? Well these seem to conform to what seems to be fairly standard for LED flashing shoes. They have eleven light and color options and one setting for off.
Flashing in more colors than you can shake a stick at, these shoes have an added extra, than just the button on the inside of the shoe to turn them on and off. They also come with a remote control!
We’re not quite sure why these need a remote control to operate the LEDs, but you can guarantee that your kid will find this the best toy ever!
These will flash with seven static colors and then four flashing options and as we said, your kids and possibly the parents too, will fight over the remote controls to change them.
A three hour charge gives approximately eight to eleven hours of flashing fun.
Out of all five of these styles, we think that the white style look the best and are also truly unisex. But whether you actually dare putting your kid in pure white is another matter entirely!
The manufacturer of these LED toddlers and kids’ shoes, are company called WaltZon, about whom, we can find out very little.
Without a website to call their own, or even a Facebook page where they can be found, we can only conclude that these are a Chinese maker who sell via other websites, predominantly.
So, they may be a little shy at publicity, but this does not mean that the product is any lower in quality for it.
These shoes start at a size nine for a toddler, which are equal to 6 and 1/8th inches. They only come in a full size, right up to a size one in little kids fittings, which measure 7 and ¾ of an inch.
After that, the half sizes are available and the lengths are; one and a half little kids – 8 inches; size two – 8 and 1/8 inches and a two and a half is 8 and ¼ inches.
The size three in little kids measure 8 ½ inches. The four moves up to the big kid range and are 8 and ¾ of an inch and finally the size five measure 9 and 1/8th of an inch.
It would appear that only the little kids ranges are available in a half size, the rest are full sizes only.
And how do the customers find the sizing?
With 59% fitting as expected, there is some room to say that these may run a little small. The manufacturers themselves actually suggest sizing up by one size.
We think it might be worth following the manufacturers sizing chart carefully before making that decision though, just in case!
There seem to be no shortage of customers praise for these Waltzon kids LED shoes.
By all accounts, these are a comfortable fit and have no significant issue when it comes to the wearing of these sneakers.
Maybe they have been designed with fashion, not support, primarily in mind, but these are as good as choice as any for a little kid – or a big one – to have on their feet.
Obviously, these are LED light up shoes. They are not designed for the rough stuff, let alone getting wet. But you knew that anyway, probably.
It should be no surprise to learn that these are not going to last forever and won’t be for trekking up Mount Kilimanjaro in either.
We think these should be treated with care and looked after properly and if possible, the kids discouraged from doing anything too rough in them.
But on the other hand, they are kids, so that could be a little hard!
The bottom line is that these are a quality product, with to date, no complaints about them.
This alone is so rare, that we think this makes these Waltzon LED Kids shoes worth the asking price!
