This pair of Timberland hiking boots had me sold, from the very first moment I saw them at my local outdoor shop.
It wasn’t a tough decision, since I had read nothing but great reviews about them. All I can say is that I made the right choice.
They fit like a glove, even though I ordered them online. I really lucked out, as the length and the width were my exact size.
The minimalist design is very appealing, and is definitely my style. I don’t care for too many details…. you know… big logos, intense colors or things like that.
Timberland, as usual, creates boots that are easy on the eye, yet very comfortable.
These are the possible color choices you can order online:
- Dark Brown
Though these colors (except for the Wheat and Tan) are only a few hues apart, I’m still glad Timberland offers at least seven different ones.
I bought the Brown ones, so I can combine them with most of my clothes.
Here are the main reasons that I’m happy with my purchase.
First of all, the most important things – Timberland White Ledge Men’s Waterproof Boots are actually one hundred % waterproof.
The uppers are completely made of premium waterproof leather (including the tongue) that keeps water away, warmth inside, and keeps the boots flexible, and therefore, comfortable.
The collar around the ankles is padded with soft cushions and covered with perforated fabric that lets air flow inside the boot to keep them dry. The thick ankle padding is a defining feature of the White Ledge Mid.
The lace closure is firmly attached on the leather uppers with metal D-rings that are hard to wreck, no matter how tight you pull on the strings.
Wearing these boots for a long time, and having them tightly tied, does not stop blood flow to my feet thanks to the super soft padded tongue.
EVA dual-density midsoles are placed inside the boots, giving the Timberland White Ledge Men’s Waterproof Boots comfort plus.
The great thing is that they are removable and perforated, which gives these boots additional air circulation.
Timberland White Ledge Men’s Waterproof Boots have B.S.F.P. ™ motion efficiency system rubber lug soles.
All the better to keep you solid on slippery or uneven terrain. The measurement of the heel is one and a half inches, while the shaft measures five inches from the arch.
With a weight of only 1 lb 3 oz, Timberland has created a pretty lightweight hiking boot, even though it is fully made of leather, which usually feels heavier than synthetic material.
These boots are very popular among people who, both love hiking and who have jobs that require shoes to protect their feet. Both the heels and toes are provided with thick bumpers.
I am a hiking enthusiast, and I found these boots to be quite comfortable, and safe enough for walking on any terrain.
Wearing them for a long periods does not burden my feet. In fact, my feet aren’t the least bit tired even after eight or nine hours on the job.
Timberland White Ledge Men’s Waterproof Boots are the perfect choice for people who like to do a variety of activities that require comfortable, protective, waterproof, boots.
