Today we review the best ECCO women’s sandals, because we’ve received many requests to do so in the past months. ECCO is a footwear brand that extends to all people young and old, and their shoes are known globally as both stylish and comfortable, ever since the company began in the ’60’s in Denmark. We have always been big fans of their sandals, in particular, and, as you know, getting a good pair of sandals can be a tricky task. It’s hard to find style and comfort all in one shoe, especially with sandals. Hence, we have narrowed it down here to five pairs of women’s sandals that we know you’ll love!
Extremely comfortable and a very close relation of both the ECCO Yucatan and Off-Road Lites, are these ECCO Cheja shoes.
Although the base of these is a slightly spikier version to the chunky soles of the Yucatan, you will still be hard-pressed to decide between them.
However, they do look different, with their small checks of color on the nubuck leather upper straps.
With a stretch inner lining, these will let your feet expand inside of them.
We know that choosing between these and the others is going to be tough, so there are several subtle color combinations to tempt you and a slight heel, measuring 1.25 inches.
There are three adjustable straps, like others in the ECCO sandal range, this means you shouldn’t have a hard time getting them to fit wider feet.
These fit well and are extremely comfortable as well as hard wearing. In short, everything that you have come to expect of an ECCO outdoor sandal.
Probably the dressiest in our range of ECCO sandals, the Damara Ankle Sandal has a cool crispness to it that is strikingly different from the Offroad or Yucatan style.
Unlike the others, these do not have an adjustable strap, they are simple slip ons. The straps are one textile strap across the front of the shoe, which is a kind of oat color and then the leather upper, which is either black, red or grey.
Maybe there isn’t a massive choice there, but we like the clean, classic look of these flat sandals and think they can be worn in a smarter casual setting than some of the more ‘rugged’ designs in our roundup.
And, rest assured, you can still hop all over town on them, both on and off the road!
Incredibly similar in design to both the Yucatan and the Cheja shoe, the Offroad Lites are one of the most robust sandals ever created, we reckon.
All three sandals share some very striking points – they all have three adjustable straps and the same kind of shape.
It doesn’t have as many color choices as the Yucatan does, though, but until you inspect it closely, you might not notice its subtle design differences.
We have to admit, that it wasn’t until we flipped them both over and inspected the outsole that we could see how they differed from the Yucatan model. The soles do have slightly different grips on them. But they are still highly rugged.
All in all, an excellent choice for comfort and style and additionally with great arch support.
One of the dressier models in this range, the Babett 3 Strap confused our reviewer by having in actual fact four straps.
But, that aside, these pass the test with flying colors for style and substance.
Walk anywhere in complete comfort and be assured your usual size should fit just fine – especially with all those adjustable straps!
We think these are a straightforward and simple sandal, which won’t blind you with their color combinations or ‘look at me’-ness.
They are just a nice, classic, flat sandal for every day as well as some slight off-roading this summer.
Long lasting, lightweight and ultimately durable, the Yucatan is the only model in our roundup to extend to a size twelve (at least, so we think, anyway).
These are made to stay the distance and we can report you ought to have more than one season in the sun with these delightful shoes by ECCO.
With three hook and loop fastenings, these are easy to adjust whatever width, size and shape your feet are at to get the coziest fit possible.
These also have excellent arch support, so anyone with podiatry problems might like to consider these shoes as a contender for this year’s choice.
More than that, these just feel divine to have on your feet. It might be something to do with the soft footbed that has been treated with dual density and Agion.
This flexible inner fabric will help your feet stretch with it and the CMEVA coating should help stop your feet from stinking completely.
The midsole has been PU injected and the outsole has all the traction you could possibly need for offroading and any other rugged outdoor pursuit.
Unlike the other ECCO sandals in our review, these are available in a wide selection of colors, with loads to choose from.
The only thing that you can’t do in these is jump into a lake or any other water.
We think these are a great option for the girl who wants her summer sandals to do a little more than just look pretty!
