Merrell Women's Fluorecein Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot

Merrell Women’s Fluorecein Waterproof Hiking Boot Review

These Hiking Boots Are Not Boring!

All of my friends “oooh” and “ahhhh” when they notice my new Merrell all season hiking boots, and I can’t say that I blame them.  When I first saw them, I thought, “Wow… these boots are made just for me!”

Merrell Women’s Fluorescein Waterproof Hiking Boots have all the traits that I liked, and that is why I did not think twice before I bought them.  Of course I was looking for boots that wouldn’t hurt my feet and would keep them warm, fully supported, and safe.

These boots have great physical appeal with that expert Merrell design you love.

Created to last, and to endure all sorts of weather, the uppers of these Merrell Fluorecein hiking boots are made of a polyurethane-coated, waterproof leather and fabric.  You won’t have to worry about walking in the rain in these boots.  Your feet will be dry and very comfortable.

Merrell picked a “M-Select DRY” waterproof, breathable membrane, to keep the water out, while letting moisture escape from within.  Merrell also uses breathable mesh linings, that are treated with M-Select fresh odor control.  Your feet will never have had it so good.

No odour! No sweat! No blisters!  These boots/shoes can be worn the year round, with no problem.

There is tongue support, to relieve the pressure of snug laces.  The bellows along the side of the tongue will keep the debris out of the shoe as well.

The insides of these hiking boots have EVA insoles that are removable.  I keep my Merrell fresh and clean by removing the EVA insoles every now and then, so I can let the shoes “breathe”.

Compliments To The Midsoles

Next, I want to compliment the manufacturer for designing a great mid-sole.  They have a moulded nylon arch shank, and they use “M-Bound” technology, that helps with your balance, and allow lots of freedom of movement.  After a long day with my boots on, my feet still feel great.  Off come the boots, and I relax with my feet up.  My feet still feel wonderful!

But, none of this is unusual, considering the fact that Merrell Women’s Fluorecein Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots have mid-soles that have air cushion heels for extra shock absorption and stability. That means that walking in these shoes won’t not cause painful blisters on your heels, nor any painful cramps in your leg.

Perfect For Hiking

Merrell Women's Fluorecein Mid Waterproof Hiking BootThe out-soles have M-Select rubber with 5 millimeter lugs that “bite” like beasts, no matter where you wear them. I never felt more eager to go hiking, because I enjoy wearing my new hiking boots!

Besides the safe lugs, the rubber outsole and shaft (which measures about five inches from the arch, nicely cupping the entire foot up to the ankles) these shoes are neither heavy nor light, so walking in them feels right. I have always invested in quality hiking boots, and this time Merrell treated me with lovely women’s hiking boots in the colors I love.

I picked the Plum Red ones.  Lots of people have actually asked me where I got such cool hiking boots.  I rate them five stars for all of the above reasons.
