AT A FIRST GLANCE
At Best Walking Shoe Reviews we had a vision. A dream of some futurist dystopia, possibly set in space.
And in this vision of the future, people were wearing something that looked very life this – the Hydro Lite-Knit Water Shoe from Aleader.
Because these women’s water shoes certainly step out of the ordinary, alright.
Maybe they only come in three colors. But don’t be put off because all of them are rather fabulous.
These are a water shoe, for any woman who wants to zing up her wardrobe a little.
THE DESIGN VIEW
A lightweight and synthetic shoe, these have a rubber sole and have been designed to offer the best resistance possible against wet and slippery surfaces.
A fabric construction; the idea of water shoes is not that they won’t get wet – but more that they will dry out mega fast.
And these do. With their surf knit technology, these shoes look as if they have been knitted by some sort of space-granny.
They are a sort of cross between something that Buck Rodgers or the crew of Battleship Galactica might have worn on their outings. …If they were crotched by your gran.
The upshot of this Surf Knit technology, is that the fabric of these shoes has notable ‘pores’ in it, to allow drainage.
But as well as allowing the water shoe to dry out nice and quickly, these colander like holes also work to air your feet, when they are on dry land.
This makes them a great choice for a hot summer’s day, when you are nowhere near water – as well as for the pool and beach.
Of course, it is not only the upper on this shoe which has drainage holes, allowing for quick drying. They are also present in the soles of the shoe.
A brief inspection of the underside of these Aleader Women’s Hydro Lite-Knit Slip On Water Shoes, reveals that the sole also has reasonable sized drainage holes in them.
As well as drying up nicely, the sole also promises great things when it comes to the traction.
It won’t slip or trip you up and features an easy drain, non-marking rubber sole. What more could you want?
Well, you might want superior comfort. And these Women’s Water Shoes by Chinese manufacturer Aleader will not let you down.
The soft knit of these Hydro-Lite Slip On Water Shoes are a joy to have on your feet.
Not just soft, the knitted design is also stretchy, meaning this is going to snap to the contours of your feet and fit you snugly.
The loop on the heal of the shoe makes it easy to pull on quickly.
There’s no fuss when it comes to putting these on and taking them off.
They’re swift and simple to wear and then remove.
Better still, the slip-on loop also makes a great hook to hang these shoes from – especially handy if you want to dry them somewhere.
As far as the insole goes, Aleader has got that covered. This Hydro Lite-Knit Slip On Water Shoe comes with an EVA midsole and added impact foam comfort cushioning.
What about special podiatry issues? Well, manufacturers Aleader reckon they have also got this box ticked – claiming that there is superior arch support available in these water shoes.
Color-wise, our only slight gripe might be that this only comes in three shades. But all of them are striking.
The hues available are Black/White, Pink/Gray and Green/Gray. We’re pleased to see that manufacturer Aleader don’t go in for any baffling descriptions and that the color combinations do what they say on the tin.
Black/White is black and white, nice and simple. This is a black base, with white stripes and dashes and a white sole.
By far the more striking of the three designs, this is the color duo which will probably match most fashion combinations the best.
As for the Pink/Gray; this is a bit more subtle, with pink superimposed over the gray backdrop. The same is achieved with the Green/Gray combination.
Available from a size 5.5 to a ten, this range does not seem to have the largest span of sizing that we have ever seen on offer.
However, they do stretch to fit, so we imagine that there is some scope for these to fit perfectly for most people.
Fit as expected is good. So far, everyone seems to be contented. We would recommend that you order your usual size.
What seems odd is although there are some half sizes available, at present, they do not seem to go completely across the board.
In other words, there are some gaps when it comes to sizing. Depending on what exact size you are, you might have to go up – or down – a size.
Either way, we think there will be a size out there for you.
As we were hoping, the feedback for the comfort levels provided by these Hydro-Lite Slip On Water Shoes is high.
We do not think that you will be disappointed by the performance from these water shoes and the soft knit upper and EVA cushioning really helps to achieve this.
SHOULD I BUY THESE WATER SHOES?
The Aleader Women’s Hydro Lite-Knit Slip On Water Shoes bring style and comfort together, in a perfectly lightweight design.
Equally at home in the pool as well on the beach, we think you can clamber over the slippery rock pools and place your feet firmly at the bottom of the swimming bath, with confidence, in these aquatic shoes.
So, if you are looking for some super soft and supportive shoes, that also ace the water this summer, these would come top of our list to pack for the beach.
